Pastor McCoy: When our clients shop on the retail side, they're actually paying it forward for a service that they may need or may not need, but they're helping their neighbors as well as themselves.

Pastor McCoy: Prior to us opening up in this location, the nearest grocery store was 5.6 miles away. Most of our clients that come in, they used to talk about catching the bus for two hours to get milk and by the time they get back, the milk is already bad because of the Las Vegas heat. So after things have gotten tight, after the rent's been paid, after the car note has been paid, and you can't make ends meet, you can come to The After Market after all of that and still get what you need to feed you and your family.

Joe Fu: The After Market is one of the only options for families around this area for access to fresh, nutritious food. It's really important that we sustain that. The tie is really integral between health conditions and social conditions. As a result, it's basically why we invest in programs like these, is to help people not just improve the conditions where they live in, but also their health status as well.
The video shows Pastor DeWayne McCoy and Joe Fu talking with another man inside the store. A close-up shows Pastor McCoy's t-shirt, which features a cartoon grocery bag filled with food. The camera pans across an aisle filled with salad dressings and other condiments.
Pastor McCoy: Having a partner like UnitedHealthcare is vital. It's vital not only for the sustainability of what we're doing, but for the sustainability of the community because the last thing we want to be in a community that feels abandoned is inconsistent, and because of UnitedHealthcare's consistency, we've been able to remain consistent.
A customer is at the checkout counter, and the cashier hands him a reusable shopping bag. He is then interviewed again.
Tobias: Just because you're low-income doesn't mean you're a low-quality person, and I've never been treated like a low-quality person in here.
Pastor McCoy is interviewed again. The camera shows various shots of the store's interior and customers, including a close-up of a sign on a shelf that reads "CHOOSE SOMETIMES."
Pastor McCoy: We're all a paycheck away from being in that situation. Some people live paycheck to paycheck, and other people live plate to plate, and one wrong decision, we could flip the script on either one of us.
Tobias: It makes living in this neighborhood so much easier, so much more convenient for everybody.
The video shows more shots of the store's interior, including Pastor McCoy speaking with a customer.
Pastor McCoy: But our purpose is to treat people with dignity and to touch them in a way to where they feel like they can touch somebody else. This is how somebody helped me, and this is how I can help somebody else.
The video ends with the blue UHC logo on a white screen. Blue text appears on a white background. The music fades.
